Pressure and temperature sensors are available with analog or digital outputs for measurement wild ranges.
Pressure sensors or pressure transmitters, are based on the latest piezoresistive foil strain gauges and inductive measurement technology. The pressure sensors can be used for a wide variety of media and applications. In aerospace engineering the piezoresistive pressure sensors help distribute pressure across the wing’s surface. They are also used in braking systems for cars and in gas turbine tests.
Temperature Sensors are used to accurately measure temperature from a distance by detecting the infrared radiation of an object. The higher the temperature the more thermal energy is emitted by an object.
Temperature sensors can be used for a wide range of applications such as driers, ovens, metal and glass industries or semiconductor production. A variety of sensors is available such as small sized, or with the ability to withstand extreme temperatures.
Pickup Sensors, Velocity Sensors, Tacho-generators are available with a wide range of thread sizes, lead lengths and connectors. DEAmatic stock a wide range of position and velocity sensors for many different engine brands and families.
Magnetic speed sensors attach to the flywheel casing and detects when ring gear teeth pass the tip of the sensor. Electrical impulses are produced by the sensor’s internal coil and feed back to the speed control unit, so engine performance can be monitored and adjusted.
Vibration sensors are piezoelectric accelerometers that sense vibration. They are used for measuring fluctuating accelerations or speeds or for normal vibration measurement. Maintenance professionals use the sensors in order to predict the maintenance of the machinery, to reduce overall costs and increase the performance of the machinery.
The knock sensor identifies the high-frequency engine vibrations characteristic of knocking and transmits a signal to the ECU. The aim is to obtain the maximum energy yield by starting ignition as early as possible. Engines with a knock sensor can reduce fuel consumption and increase torque.
Gas sensors (also known as gas detectors) are electronic devices that detect and identify different types of gasses. They are commonly used to detect toxic or explosive gasses and measure gas concentration. Gas sensors are employed in factories and manufacturing facilities to identify gas leaks, and to detect smoke and carbon monoxide in homes. Gas sensors vary widely in size (portable and fixed), range, and sensing ability.
An oxygen sensor (or lambda sensor, where lambda refers to air–fuel equivalence ratio, usually denoted by λ) is an electronic device that measures the proportion of oxygen (O2) in the gas or liquid being analyzed.
A servomotor is a rotary actuator, linear actuator or solenoid that allows for high-response, high-precision control of angular or linear position, velocity and acceleration. As a motor capable of the accurate rotation angle and speed control, it can be used for a variety of equipment. They are used in applications such as robotics, CNC machinery or automated manufacturing and are generally used as a high-performance alternative to the stepper motor.
In automatic control, a regulator is a device which has the function of maintaining a designated characteristic. It performs the activity of managing or maintaining a range of values in a machine. The measurable property of a device is managed closely by specified conditions or an advance set value; or it can be a variable according to a predetermined arrangement scheme. It can be used generally to connote any set of various controls or devices for regulating or controlling items or objects.
A governor, or speed limiter or controller, is a device used to measure and regulate the speed of a machine, such as an engine.
Electronic governor controller is compatible with all analog governors/speed controllers from Cummins, Barber Colman, Woodward and GAC. The governor controller works with all types of hydraulically actuated governors, PT pump type (Cummins), both built-in and externally mounted
